Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of "Abstria" (the "Service"), operated by Rebuild ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

"User"
An individual or entity that has registered for the Service under these Terms
"Content"
Goals, tasks, notes, and other data created or entered by a User
"Free Plan"
The no-cost tier with certain feature and usage limitations
"Pro Plan"
The paid subscription tier with full features

2. Account Registration

  1. You must register an account to use the Service.
  2. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date registration information.
  3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Do not share your account with others.
  4. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
  5. You may not create more than one account per person.

3. Fees and Payment

  1. The Free Plan is available at no cost.
  2. The Pro Plan is $9.00 per month (USD, tax included). Prices may change with 30 days' notice.
  3. The Pro Plan includes a 7-day free trial. No charge will be made during the trial period.
  4. Payments are processed via Stripe by credit card and are automatically renewed monthly.
  5. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Pro features remain available until the end of the current billing period.
  6. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or in the case of a material service failure caused by us.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or reputation of any party
  • Attempt unauthorized access, reverse-engineer, or impose excessive load on the Service
  • Distribute spam, phishing content, or malware
  • Harass or defame other users
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without our prior written consent
  • Scrape or mass-collect data using automated tools
  • Engage in any other conduct we deem inappropriate

5. Intellectual Property

  1. All intellectual property rights in the Service (software, design, logos, etc.) belong to us.
  2. You retain ownership of Content you create.
  3. You grant us a limited license to use your Content solely to the extent necessary to provide, improve, and promote the Service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

  1. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee fitness for a particular purpose, completeness, or uninterrupted availability.
  2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
  3. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the month the damage occurred.
  4. We are not responsible for outages or failures of third-party services (Stripe, Supabase, Google, etc.).

7. Changes, Suspension, and Termination

  1. We may modify the Service at any time. We will give advance notice of significant changes where possible.
  2. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, technical issues, or force majeure events.
  3. If we discontinue the Service, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance.

8. Account Suspension and Deletion

  1. We may suspend or delete your account without notice if you violate these Terms.
  2. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deleted data cannot be recovered.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via an in-app notice and, for significant changes, by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
